I am left feeling stunned.
Chris was the most honest, thoughtful, dedicated, decent and wise of people. In fact he taught me the difference between being intelligent and being wise, he was both, but he was especially wise.
We spent many hours mulling things over, from conspiring to start water fights in other college blocks and dining halls to pondering reasons for the decline of the apple growing industry.
Although superficially sensible he had a wicked sense of humour that he couldn't hide from others on occasions.
I'm glad we shared the same block at the start of college and had the fun we did but wish we could have had more time together.
Anthony you will often be in my thoughts and it goes without saying if there is anything I can do in the future please let me know.

A lovely man, who will be so missed. Many happy memories, starting in Addlestone and such kind phone calls to me this past couple of years.

Chris... a true friend of 30+ years.

He was an usher at our wedding, a board games master, a gentleman and walking encyclopedia.

Truely heartbroken for Antony and Chris's family.

Chris, kind and calm, generous and modest. Thank you for your friendship and love to me, Yvonne and especially Matthew. You made my late sister Sarah's life complete and were my late fathers last and most attentive friend. I've lost my plumbing consultant and every time there is a weather event there is no-one to discuss it with any more. We are so very sad. Thank you

Chris, I met you within an hour of arriving at college, we just hit it off and we've been friends for 39 years. You were kind, fun, great to talk to and you would help anyone whenever you could. I'm pleased that we spent time together, I wish it could have been more. You will be missed. Steve.

I won't forget the long chats we had walking to work from Coxheath and Loose. I'm just grateful I live near the top of Old Loose Hill so avoided the long climb, you endured both ways, from the village centre. And then, after we left KP, the Christmas meals and KP group meetings. You are sadly missed Chris, RIP.

Taken too soon a good, kind and intelligent man, a privilege to have known you Chris. Will miss the laughs and informative chats we had normally over a beer at the KP catchups every other month.
