Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

I remember the first time I met Milly so many years ago. I remember her smiling and welcoming me. Every time I met her since that time she was always the same, smiling and kind to me. I will miss the early Christmas cards with my birthday card tucked in. I know she will be missed deeply by many. Lyla

Heaven has claimed yet another angel! Milly was the most thoughtful , witty and kindest woman that I had the blessing to meet. My most sincere condolences and prayers of strength to everyone who's lives she touched and may the memories that you have of her comfort you in times of sorrow.

So sad to hear of your sudden passing, Aunt Millie. But I'm so glad I got to chat with you recently. You were always so funny and so quick, and sounded so much like Violet that it was like I had two nans rolled into one. I hope I'm half as with it and with such a sense of humour when I'm your age. I bet you and Uncle Dave are having plenty of giggles already. RIP.

When I was living in London, I spent many weekends visiting Nan. My favourite memories are of the hours we spent playing school on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, drinking sherry and eating Hula Hoops. I will miss you very much Nan, all my love to Grandad and Uncle Ken.

All our love
Jackie, Paul, Callum, Morganne and Rhys xo

Nan Johnson had one of the of the best senses of humour around. When Rob and I went to visit Nan for her 90th birthday, we got to her flat and rang the buzzer. She came on over the intercom and said "You can only come in if you are good looking!" Thankfully we were allowed in!! Forever in our hearts Nan, you will be missed so much! xo Viktorija, Rob and Malcolm
