We so very sorry to hear the news of Uncle Ter. I will remember with great fondness his long and passionate debates with Grandpa and Dad at the dinner table in Thurston and also his feisty but very loving relationship with Grandma.

I learn with sadness of Terry's death. I want you to know that during the teenage years of my friendship with Simon, Terry commanded my great love and respect and I know our other friends felt the same. His wisdom and honest advice was much valued and appreciated. His passing leaves me with special memories that are part of the reason for my great friendship with Simon, you and your lovely family. Charmian and I had so many memorable times with Pam and Terry in their time at Lincoln and in Poole.

We cannot attend the funeral on Friday 25th because we are already committed to the service for our good friend Dudley Dolan who died the day before Terry and whose memorial service is at 3.15 pm on that same afternoon.
