In loving memory of Barbara Greta Ball who sadly passed away on 4th August 2022.

Sister to John, Mum and Mother-in-Law to Sue, Heather and Martin, Nana to Sara and Curtis and loved by her friends, neighbours and wider family.
Barbara was 93 and was diagnosed with dementia in 2019.
We are grateful that she died peacefully, at her home in the retirement community of The Dairy, Tunbridge Wells. She passed away in the company of the Manager who had cared for her, holding her hand. Thank you for being there, Rhona.
Barbara was a great character with plenty of spirit and dogged determination. She was strong willed, feisty and independent, as well as being kind, thoughtful and loving. She loved a laugh, a dance and a good sing-a-long and was sociable and popular with all who knew her. She loved having her hair done, ‘putting her face on’ in the afternoon and was always immaculately turned out.
Barbara survived her husband Des by 16 years. She felt his loss massively but remarkably, didn’t make a fuss, dusted herself off and resolutely made a life for herself without him. She was proud of her daughters and loved her grandchildren to bits. The Daily Mail, crosswords, baking, gardening, endless cups of tea and chocolate eclairs were her raison d’être!
R.I.P. Barbara: our dearest Mum and Nana. You have left a huge hole in our world. We’ll love and miss you and hold you in our hearts, forever; cherishing our memories of happier times, together.
God bless xxxxx

All those great family holidays in Devon and Cornwall; and on Guernsey - it seems a lifetime ago now. Great memories that cannot be taken away and will last forever.

Rest in Peace Barbara

Condolences to all of Barbara's family. I have such fond memories of Barbara, after all I and my family have known her for a very long time. In recent years we became cinema partners and had several visits to Merry Hill to watch our favourite sorts of film. We've also shared a few cups of tea together, even if an extra tea bag had to be added! RIP Barbara

Wonderful memories of Barbara , holidaying with us at Bridge Farm , Cornwall and became a family friend , we kept in touch for over 40 years . Remember her laugh , sense of humor , generosity, love of cups of tea, T.V. Sitting in the garden with a paper always immaculately dressed with a hint of lipstick ! She did enjoy her life and took great interest in our lives . We will miss you Barbara xxxx
