It is with great sadness, that I announce that Ruth Charlotte Zuza, ne Curkan, ne Junski, passed away on the 3rd August 2022 aged 92, at Beechdale Nursing Home.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday 17th August, at 2pm at Wilford Hill, leaving St Margaret's Avenue at 1.30pm.
Ruth leaves behind her son John and daughter Chris, in addition to 10 grand children, 9 great grand children and 2 great, great grand children.
She was proceeded in death by her first husband Jaroslow Curkan, her second husband Relja Zuza and her eldest daughter, Danya Mcbride.
I remember offering to deliver something to Ruth on my way home following her late husbands funeral.
We had a lovely chat such a lovely lady, after being there for about an hour on leaving I commented on a lovely unusual purple plant that she had, she gave me a cutting of the same plant which I called Ruth and it still continues to flourish. Rest in eternal peace Ruth. Lv to your family.
