In loving memory of Vivienne Patricia Wealthall "Viv" who sadly passed away on 1st August 2022
A lovelier person you could not meet Viv was diagnosed with colon cancer Two years and two months ago and has battled to beat it but on Monday morning with no pain she sadly slipped away
On Monday a lady from QMC phoned and reminded me that Viv was a organ donor and asked for my permission to donate her corneas as they aren’t affected by the cancer and with her donation they can make two people regain their sight.
I’ve received a package today from the lead nurse for tissue and eye services with a picture of a golden tree in her office and on it is a heart with Vivs name on it There is also a certificate of thanks and a Heart pin badge that I will wear proudly at the Funeral
I can honestly say Viv would of been overjoyed that she was able to help restore two peoples sight
So for Viv life goes on and the nurses in Liverpool are keeping me up to date with the progress of the recipients all I can say now is wow
