Barb and I were at primary school together (she was always happy and smiling even then) and our friendship continued over the years albeit with some breaks when life took us in different directions.
It is said you get the life you deserve and nobody was more deserving of the happy and loving life she had.
Not having seen Barb for a couple of years I would say cherish those you hold dear and make time for them whenever you can. RIP dearest Barb

Mum I can't believe today we are saying our goodbye. You fought so hard and we are all so grateful for your strength and willing to get better. I felt your pain all of the way but glad that pain for you is no more. I'm absolutely heart broken and our lives will never be the same again. I'll hold on tight to the good times and love and kindness you gave us all. I remember I'd always call you with my successes and the happiness that brought to you...thank you for the person you made me and I will continue making you proud. You really were the 'Best' Mum. RIP Mum love you so much xxx
So very pleased to have had you as a lovely friend. We will never forget how uncanny it was that we got to be in Singapore at exactly the same time & the laugh we had throwing the peanut shells on the floor in Raffles & how wrong it felt to us. Will sorely miss our texts, phone conversations & seeing you when we visit. Rest in Peace xx

We first met at secondary school over fifty years ago and shared many laughs and tears. We lost touch after leaving school but thankfully reunited our friendship a few years ago and just picked up where we left off but now sharing stories of our children and grandchildren. We had some lovely lunches with lots of laughter. You were such a kind and caring lady and I know how much you loved Allan and your family. Taken far too soon, will miss you Barb RIP lovely lady. Xxx

So sad that such a meaningful life has been cut short far too soon. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and a lovely friend to many of us. She will be sorely missed.
We kept in touch for over 40 years each Christmas having worked together at Barclays Bank Victoria Avenue . So glad we were able to meet up earlier this year and I hope that Allan will continue to re live memories of Barb and the adventures you shared together over coffee or a meal

Lovely crusing Hong Kong / Singapore then having you both for dinner when you came to Liverpool to do the tour Barbara was beautiful inside and out she will be sadly missed by many R.I.P barb condolences to Allan Laura and Matt always with you all xx

Our first ever Caribbean cruise aboard the “legend of the seas” this is where we got the taste for cruising especially the Caribbean ,we did 6 cruises in total to the Caribbean, must have been to most of the islands , we have met some wonderful people .
She always liked cats 🐈⬛, from another wonderful trip to Bangkok / koh Sumai in Thailand
Barb with her mum , she loved her so much ,and so missed her when she passed away , even when she knew she was so poorly , she said to me “ make sure you look after my mums stone and plot” when I’ve gone
She did love a bit of Celine Dion , going to see her live at Ceasers Palace in Las Vegas
barb and her friend Ann , from Russell and Bromley days 47 years ago ( yes she will be there in her words to me) on the 1st August

She loved her “eggchair”just chilling out in the back garden , Had to hunt high and low to find her one of these
