You always made me feel so welcome in your home, always made me smile or laugh, even when we were probably being annoying giggly teenage girls getting ready for a night out. Thank you for the laughs x

Davy,

I can't believe your gone. I've been thinking about you a lot recently. I have debated on phoning you for months, I stupidly told myself I'd be hassling you during your retirement. I miss our chats and your banter. You were a very caring, kindhearted soul, who seen the best in everyone.

I spent 5 amazing years working as your Apprentice and alongside you.
When I met you I was a 20 year old, unteachable apprentice who had no clue about the job or the world. You had the absolute patience of a Saint, to be able to nurture me into not only a qualified trademan but someone who can say with confidence that I am now good at my job.

You didn't just teach me your trade, you educated me on many life skills, motivated and inspired me enough so, that I still carry these with me in everyday life to this day. Although I may be devasted at your loss, I am completely honoured to remember one of the best people I ever met.

Rest in peace Davy Lillie one of the the dearest friends I'll ever have
X
