In loving memory of Stewart Roberts who sadly passed away on 29th June 2022.

Stewart had a long battle with cancer which he fought so hard to win. Originally diagnosed in 2008, then in remission for nearly 10 years before it returned. October 2019, he was given the devastating news that not much more could be done, with probably only months left. However, he responded well to palliative chemotherapy and managed to enjoy life for a further two years. In October 2021, the chemotherapy stopped working. He travelled to Oxford for trial drugs but it wasn’t meant to be. In April 2022 he started to deteriorate. With the help and support of Macmillan we were able to keep him at home where he passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Rest in peace now Stewart. You will be missed by many. I will cherish our memories, when I was a kid and on our holidays together. Although we grew distant as I got older and moved away, me and Kerry always seen you and Anne as our godparents. You both mean the world to my Mum and Dad. Till we meet again. Love Adam xxx

Such great memories working with 'Stew'. One of my faves was his rendition of 'Wonderwall’ at a Hill & Tyler Xmas bash... Such a character - and he'll forever be with me when I hear that song. Love to Anne and Callum - stay strong. X

The nicest honest person who was so courageous whilst dealing with his battle with cancer. Inspirational in his handling of a very poor hand. I will never forget Stewart and will make sure over the years we raise a glass in his honour as a true friend.
