Michael Nelson (19 May 1939 - 4 Jun 2022)

It is with great sadness that we write about the loss of
Michael Nelson, but we also feel happiness when looking at a life well lived. No doubt you will have your own personal memories of him to treasure.
Mike appreciated so much and was passionate about many things; his family and friends, his hobbies and those involved in them. Mike also donated a great deal of his time and energy to charity throughout his life and enriched many lives along the way.
Mike was an early riser and a man who always worked hard. Farming is not an easy vocation but it was one that suited him. Even in retirement he never took his foot off the pedal. He would spend many hours in the garden and for those who have seen it, they will appreciate his and Pam's hard work now it is in bloom.
Mike pursued many interests on land, air and sea. He saw some wonderful places around the world and never stopped reminding us what a great life he had. He recognised how precious every moment was and the importance of making great memories and in that he was a true inspiration.

Mike was loved beyond words and will remain in our hearts and thoughts always.
