In loving memory of George Tumbridge who sadly passed away on 20th May 2022 A remarkable man who lived a remarkable life. Started work in 1940 at the age of 16 to help support his family after his older Brothers had been conscripted and sent to various theatres of war. Two years later George was himself called to serve. First in the Royal Armoured Corps and in 1943 transferred to the 6th Airborne Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment. After the war, he joined his Brothers in business, running a very successful Company. George will be very sadly missed by his extended family, consisting of Children, Step Children 13 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grand Children. He was a wonderful, warm, kind and generous person.

Life at home will not be the same without you Dad. Sue and I miss you so very much. I am going to have to watch the West Ham matches on my own now, and as a Spurs supporter that’s not going to be easy. Rest in Peace Dad xxxx
