Peacefully in hospital on May 27th aged 87 years, Edward (also known as Eddi or Ted). The dearly loved dad of David, a loving father-in-law of Karen and a devoted grandad of Nadia. A loved brother, uncle, cousin and a friend to many both in this area and in Denmark and Norway. Friends please meet on Wednesday June 15th for service in Durham Crematorium at 11.00am.

So deeply saddened to read this sad news. I was a neighbor for 20 years and Ted's gas man. He inspired me to travel to Denmark and Norway and gave me good advice as we looked through his photos of what looked like a great life he had experienced. I send my condolences to David and family at this terribly difficult and sad time.
