I will miss Edna's sharp wit and her interesting stories. I hope good memories of Edna will help to console the family.

In loving memory of Edna May Barwell who sadly passed away on 9th May 2022.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her prime she was a avid walker who was always out and about in the countryside around Elston. She loved knitting and sewing, although one of her greatest loves was watching the Snooker on TV! She sadly passed away aged 99 and even though she spent the last few years of her life at Aslockton Hall her carers always said that she was a determined old soul. Whilst we are sad at her passing she joins her husband, son, daughter and great grandson and will be at peace.
