The Cross Keys, a fabled British pub name, gets its name from St Peter, the gatekeeper of Heaven. RIP dear Ralph, one of my favourite drinking buddies. See you there mate for an extra special pint. Nick Page

A priviledge to have known you since the 1970's during early CAMRA days.Rest in peace. God bless you.
So nice to have kept in touch over the years, and, to have seen you more frequently despite the distance.

Ralph was, I believe, the treasurer of the first CAMRA Great British Beer Festival in Covent Garden. Ralph showed me "the ropes" at the Kingston and Woking Beer Festivals and remained unflustered by situations that might have caused lesser souls to panic. May your ledgers continue to balance.
