Our beloved Juan Bocardo Junquera sadly passed away on 9th May 2022 following a long illness.
Juan is survived by his devoted wife Pamela, son Adrian and daughter Bianca.
Born in Cádiz Spain, Juan was brought up and educated in his home town, until he moved to Germany to work.
During a trip home to Spain, Juan met Pam and his future in England was sealed.
Following their marriage, Adrian and Bianca were born and brought up in the family home in Corringham, Essex.
In later years the family moved to Thundersley Benfleet, where Juan became a keen gardener. Often found wearing Wellington boots and a cap, he embraced the British culture and weather, however he held his Spanish origin and love for Cádiz close to his heart throughout his life.
With his travelling days long behind him Juan preferred the simple pleasures in life and had a happy retirement enjoying football, good food and spending time with the family.
Juan is loved endlessly by all of the family and missed beyond words.

Following the funeral service on 10th June, there will be a gathering in the Carlton room at Langdon Hills Golf Club.

Hospice at Home, is part of the Fair Havens organisation that cared for Juan in his last few weeks.
For those choosing to remain at home for end of life care it is a much needed support to look after loved ones when they need it most. Their care and support enabled Juan to stay at home in those precious weeks, allowing the family to have unlimited time by his side.

Muchisimas gracias a mi cuñada Pamela y a mis sobrinos Adrian y Bianca por haber hecho posible un funeral "tan gaditano". Ha sido muy emotivo, emocionante y con tanto amor. Jamás imaginamos que la foto de la puesta de sol de Cádiz era para el feretro, todo un detallazo, gracias Pam por ese centro de flores con los colores de nuestra bandera.
Y gracias por todas las atenciones que habeis tenenido con todos nosotros.
Gracias Laurence por todo,eres un ser maravilloso no cambies nunca.
Fides todo un placer conocerte. Ojalá hubiera sido en otra circunstancia.
