In loving memory of Jean Goodey who sadly passed away on 1st May 2022, age 86.
Jean was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
We have asked that anyone who wishes to make a donation, in Jeans memory, does so to Save the Orangutans. Yes, it might sound an odd request! There is a reason! Jean had an Orangutan companion called Twan. She bought him on a visit to the zoo, with her dear friend Tom, where she fell in love with orangutans. Twan wasn't just a stuffed toy to Jean. He was a constant companion. Jean spoke to him every day and evening. He knows all her secrets! He had his special seat in the lounge and, if you were allowed to move him, had to be moved 'carefully'!
We have made a number of donations to the Save the Orangutans over the last couple of years, on Jeans behalf. We know she would have loved the idea. http://savetheorangutans.org/
