On 30th April 2022, in hospital, of Commonside, aged 84 years, John Alec Taylor, devoted husband of the late Janet, loving and wonderful dad of Debbie, Tracey, Richard and Stuart, very dear father in law of Peter, David, Alison and Cathie, proud grandad of Lewis, Lauren, Conor, Beckam and Brooke, precious great grandad of Paige, Peyton, Maddison, Deacon and Harrington and remembered with love by Jenna, Kelsey and their families. Alec was a much loved brother, brother in law and uncle. He was one in a million.
Funeral service will be held at St Paul’s Parish Church, Hanging Heaton on Thursday 26th May 2022 at 11:30am, followed by committal at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium. Friends and family please accept this intimation and meet at the church. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Alec may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of the Alzheimer’s Society.

You were always so happy and smiley whenever me and conor came to see you. Will always remember when I worked at Sainsburys and you would come in and do your shopping and we would have a 5 minute chin wag even though I was busy. Good night, god bless Alec was a pleasure to have known you ❤️
