Owned and operated by Peace Funerals, an independent funeral director, the South Yorkshire Woodland Burial Ground was opened in 1996 and caters to local families in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

The idyllic natural cemetery specialises in woodland burials and offers single and double burial plots, with the option to plant a tree or shrub on the grave.

Cremation ashes plots are also available at this natural burial ground, which is open to members of all faiths and religions. All coffins, shrouds or caskets are to be made from natural materials such as willow, bamboo or cardboard.

Some burial spaces are available to reserve in advance at South Yorkshire Woodland Burial Ground.
