The staff at Bewley's are exceptional. Jayne in Trowbridge was particularly good, she was both sensitive and helpful in what was a very harrowing experience for me when I lost my husband after a very short illness. Nothing was too much trouble, her suggestions were spot on the dot and made a daunting day much easier to get through. She was there for me every step of the way.

I had used the company before when my mother died several years ago, and I was impressed by their professionalism then and it was as good if not better for my husband.

When my husband's aunt passed away in May, Bewley's were recommended to us as we do not live locally and did not know who was the best Funeral Director to appoint. We were looked after by Jayne,from the beginning to the end of this difficult process, she was even there on the day of the funeral which was a great comfort.

Jayne Baldwin of Bewley's has been everything that we could wish for, kind, respectful, understanding, helpful, a good listener - so we didn't have to keep repeating ourselves and utterly professional.

Although we worked with Jayne,we understand that it is a team that makes such a successful experience, so thank you to you all.

Needless to say we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bewley's to anyone looking to appoint a Funeral Director.

Nothing beats the personal touch. Mr Bewley came to our home and what has been a stressful and emotional experience was made that much more bearable as we were able to do the necessary in the comfort of our home. All of our requests were taken on board and even after the funeral he has been there to answer any questions we have. 
Would definitely recommend them to family and friends as one of the best in our area.

The communication is excellent and no request whether for guidance or direction is always timely and handled with respect. They show understanding and caring for the family. Their approach to clear pricing is reassuring and easily understood, making the decisions easier. Our experience of Bewleys funeral service was that it was exceptionally professional. Ryan talked us through all the details and showed us much consideration throughout. Nothing seemed too much trouble and every detail was looked after. The flowers were beautiful and as ordered. Changes to the service sheet were all put through accurately - the final result was just right. On the day, the timing of our arrival was as desired and we were looked after and guided through with much courtesy. The minister we were appointed by Bewleys was first class - a tremendous speaker who chose some lovely prayers on our behalf. All round, we couldn't have wished for a better service.

I found Patrik to be most helpful and understanding. On one evening he was concerned enough to give me a call at 21:26 we had a lengthy conversation about a concern he and I had. Although it was out of both our control he wanted me to know he was there for us. As it turned out the problem solved its self. But it was kind of him to voice his concern. Thank you Patrik.

Regular contact by email and phone. Sympathetic understanding and professional guidance with the different options available to a direct relative's first experience with passing away of a parent. They were the first choice of my late father and I would certainly recommend using them.

As a family we visited a few funeral directors in Trowbridge, following the unexpected death of my dad. We decided on Bewley's mainly due to the way Darren and Jane put us at ease and comforted us at our first visit to their office. From the start we were impressed with how they treated our family and how genuinely caring they came across (We were not treated this way in all of the funeral directors we visited). Bewley's didn't let us down once, emails and phone calls were responded to, even late at night, by Darren and Patrick. The care Darren and Jane provided for my dad was really kind and something that helped us to get through this really sad time. Darren listened to all of my mum's requests and never let her down with anything she asked for, nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. From start to finish, the support from Darren and Jane made us feel like they were old family friends, rather than a company. We would like to express how thankful we are to Bewley and how we would never turn to another funeral directors when we next unfortunately need one. Our mum and ourselves saying goodbye to our dad was the hardest thing we have ever had to do, we are just glad we were able to give him a send of which would have made him proud. Thank you Bewley x

Arranging a funeral long distance could have been difficult but Darren Taylor at Bewleys did everything to facilitate the event. Professional and caring at all times the actual day of the funeral was a beautiful occasion conducted in just the right tone.
