I visited 3 other funeral directors and at none did I receive the the personal attention offeed by A P McDonald. I was shown into a small office, offered tea or coffee and had the whole procedure explained in detail with costs. I was give a copy of what was explained together with a brochure before I left. I was assured they were available at all times to be available and so they proved to be. They did not ask for money up front offered me an invoice for the already agreed cost within seven days of the funeral. I am very pleased with the care and attention I received and cannot recommend them too highly.

Words cannot express how much we want to thank you for taking such good care of us both before and at Philippa’s funeral. You were so caring and compassionate and I don’t believe we would have survived without you. You showed a concern which went above and beyond a normal duty and you shared with us in the celebration of her life. Thank you again

AP McDonald funeral services were amazing from day one the support they gave from the start to the day of my Dads funeral service was wonderful and my Dad Reg Bridewell had the best send off and could not have asked for anything better for him. Paul and Ashley were always at the end of the phone or email, very attentive, thought of the things we had forgotten or not considered, but also open to our suggestions and wishes. I hope I will not be in this position again, but if I am, they will be the funeral directors I go to.
