The whole team at Pontefract have been exemplary from the point at which I made first contact with them. They made an extremely difficult time for me just that little bit easier to cope with, and I could not possibly thank them enough for the care and attention that they showed towards my late Mum, myself and the rest of the family. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone needing their support.

Nichola and the teams at both Pontefract and Hoyland branches dealt with things is a very professional, courteous and sensitive manner. I was contacted at every stage of the process and took away the worry of ensuring Gill got the send off she deserved.

Overall, we thought the Co-op were very good. Nicola and Ron were very professional and empathetic. The only negative was that when we first went into the Co-op to book mam's funeral date we were spoken to in the open foyer instead of being taken to a back room.

From the first meeting with the Co-op Funeral directors to the completion of their services I have been very impressed. They were very professional whilst being sympathetic and very supportive to the family. We have been fully satisfied with the service provided and are grateful that a funeral plan was in place to ease the burden at a very stressful time.

I could not have Elliott home due to size of the coffin i totally understand so he was supposed to be out side for 12.15 he was 15 mins plus late presiouse time lost for friends &family then had to get in the cars crematorium was at 12.30 he coffin was all chipped a few have commented the flowers were not places right as specified in the Hurst ie grandson was shoved in the middle nobody could see my boy at the back it was just boy collected his urn it was in a bag got it home wow it hurt no date on it no kisses it was written Dawn what was to be put on the urn what a disappointment my son was in there my whole world the Co op used to be family run all are d desesed family members has been in your care I felt we were let Dawn and you only get one chance ...the staff at the co op were lovely and I felt Elliott was in safe hands but I can honestly speak for my entire family we would not use the Co op again kind regards lemm
