From initial contact to making the final payment, Paul, Nicola, Sam and Olivia were great. They showed empathy whilst ensuring I understood everything. Paul went above and beyond in resolving and issue with registering Jackie's passing.

The staff are all excellent at what they do, get a feeling they genuinely care. Things weren’t straight forward as we had delays due to unexpected Coroner involvement but they kept me in the loop every step of the way

An excellent service provided by the Team at COOP Funeral service at Pontefract.
A very professional , caring and empathetic approach by all members of staff in particular many thanks to Samantha , Paul and Gary but  I must stress all members of staff who we had contact with were excellent in terms of their professionalism and helpfulness.As a family we are extremely grateful.
Notwithstanding that the COOP Funeral service is a business to make a profit I never felt at anytime that money or profit was an issue  and the focus was on providing our family with a bespoke funeral for my Mum, we really appreciate everything that the team did for us to make Mums funeral a great celebration of her life . Everything went exactly to plan . Thank you. 5 stars from us .

From my first meeting with Nichola, I was reassured by her calm and supportive manner. She guided and advised me and kept me informed at all stages. She was sensitive to the needs of some members of my family. She 'kept in touch,' at appropriate times leading up to the funeral. I had complete trust in Nichola and her team. On the day of the funeral, I really appreciated her quiet, reassuring presence. She chatted to me regularly, checked that I was ok to proceed at various stages and explained what was happening. It was really helpful to have someone like Nichola to lead me through not just the day of the funeral, but also, the period prior to it. Your support is much appreciated.

Everyone at Pontefract Funeralcare was so supportive and helpful to us at a time when all seemed surreal. Samantha was kindness itself and after talking through with us what we wanted for John made all the arrangements as we wished. Thank you Sam. I must also thank Paul our Funeral Director whose thoughtfulness made the day easier for me and the family. It was a day to celebrate John’s life and even the sun shone for him.

All the team at the pontefract office were helpful throughout the process of booking the funeral and on the day . Sam was very professional as were all the team , both my sister and myself were comforted knowing mum was well looked after and cared for . We were kept up to date with all arrangements.
