The loss of my mother was an incredibly emotional and distressing time for me, and I needed a funeral director I could trust with both her care and the organisation of her final send-off. Having used the Cooperative Funeralcare previously, they were the obvious choice. I'm both delighted and relieved with that choice as their care of my mother was first-class: respectful, warm and accommodating.
Their organisation of the funeral day itself was flexible, compassionate, methodical and they ensured her wishes were carried out to the letter, keeping me fully informed along the way.
The service itself was wonderful with everything from the coffin and flowers to the printed order of service and memorial pin badges absolutely perfect for our needs.
Every person I worked with at the Coop Pontefract was polite, empathetic, professional and respectful. With special thanks to Olivia for looking after mum in the Chapel of Rest, to Duane for organising the whole process seamlessly and to Sam for her fantastic work as Funeral Director on the day.
They made a hard time just that little bit easier, and I thank them sincerely for that.

From the first moment I walked through the door they made me Feel so at ease.  Everyone is so professional and nothing was ever to much trouble. They even looked after me and let me sit with mum every week before her funeral. I can never thank them enough they are all amazing thank you .

From start to finish we received excellent care and as we had to wait a long time because of coroners and me being on holiday Nichola always kept us up to date with everything that we needed etc .
On the day of the funeral again excellent communication and Nichola and the PallBearers looked very smart and were sympathetic and respectful.

Outstanding service in every way from every member of the team. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was attended to leaving the family to focus solely on the grieving process.
