Collected my mum from home quickly (within an hour after ringing them )and looked after her with respect throughout. Good contact with the team regarding arrangements and the service went without any problems. We were impressed enough to arrange our own funeral plan with them.

Our family will never be able to thank Helen and the team enough for their kindness, thoughtfulness and attention to detail.
They kept us fully informed every step of the way, ringing to check we were happy with all the arrangements. They organised everything very well and this made a difficult time so much easier for us.
Helen was aware that our mum had worked for the Co-op since the age of 14 and she honoured this in so many ways.
In particular, mums final journey to the Crematorium.
She walked  in front of the hearse through the whole of Horbury in snow and freezing conditions to stop at the places mum had worked, and lived. Each building had something special about mum. In particular the last place we stopped at is now the First Steps Nursery. The children were outside with balloons, bubbles and butterflies in honour of our mum.
We will never forget this kindness as it made so many lasting memories for the family.

Upon the death of my dad recently we made arrangements through Horbury Road Funeral Care for his direct cremation and scattering of his ashes.

The meeting with Helen was equally professional and friendly and gave us every confidence that my dad would be in very safe hands.

We were kept informed throughout the various procedures and felt a lot of the stress of the process was greatly minimised by their support.

Everybody at Horbury Road funeral care were very caring and mum passed away just befor Christmas and they rang to see if I was OK just before the office closed for Christmas which was very thought full of them on the day of mum's funeral Helen and her team were caring and thought full so would recommend Horbury Road funeral care

At the saddest of times, it was very comforting to be guided through a distressing process that I had no previous experience of. However, I did know the type of farewell I wanted for my brother John. The staff's kindness, dedication and expertise made sure all my wishes were accommodated. John and Jessica made initial contact less stressful, guiding, consoling and assuring me that we could get through this, and were very supportive. Helen the Funeral Director and her team ensured the funeral was seamless. Her support on the day gave me the strength to push through. Everyone attending especially commented on Helen's warmth, empathy, and total professionalism.

I have only really dealt with John, as the other lady was on holiday. Sue to this I can only imagine John had a lot to do single handled. I never felt this way, from booking appointments to see my Grandad for myself and family was so smooth. John was very accommodating. I couldn’t have wished for a better person to help me through this difficult time. He was truly amazing. I asked the craziest of questions, called him and emailed him a ridiculous amount of times and John didn’t seem to mind anything. I never leave reviews, but in this instance I had to. I do hope never to see him again but if I had to, I would love to work with him again. He is a credit to coop.
