From the day my Mum died they have been so supported especially during the unexpected delays and problems caused by the coroner not receiving the paperwork due to it being sent by the doctors to the wrong email address. They kept me informed throughout, they dealt with the problem and made sure things were resolved as quickly as possible. They also constantly apologised for the delays, the changes of persons on the funeral day due to illness. I have, repeatedly told them that their apologies were not needed none of the things were down to them, they were all beyond there control.. They are still fully supporting me still. they have sorted getting the ashes, arranging the permission for the strewn of the ashes and most importantly making me feel at ease and listening to me.
The actual funeral service was everything I wanted for my mum. The celebrant was lovely. I wrote the eulogy, a poem and chose the music and she put it together beautifully, she understood the importance of the day being about my mum and the replacement director William was brilliant and thoughtful. At the end of the ceremony we decided to take the flowers. William told me he had taken one of the white roses and left it with my mum, such a lovely thoughtful touch.

We were all very pleased how Mollys funeral was conducted. The staff at a Wortley funeral care are all lovely people. Alan will treasure his folder from Carey leaving him with lovely memories of his Mum and his family.We all felt the day went well

I cannot thank Emma the funeral director and victoria enough, they went above and beyond in looking after my mum while she rested at wortley and also me and my family. Down to the personal touches of her and her team wearing a lilac tie for the service. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. I will never forget what Emma has done for me in this very difficult time.

I thought planning my dads funeral was going to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do and it was but with the help of Moira and Jo they made the whole experience a lot easier for me. Moira delivered an absolutely amazing day for my dad, her work on the day of the funeral was perfect. Jo is one of the loveliest people I have ever met, everything she did was fabulous. Jo made me feel at ease every time I called her and every time I visited my dad. We had some lovely laughs when I would go in and speak about my dad. I could tell she truly cared about everything I had to say. I cannot recommend Wortley Funeralcare enough. I will never forget everything Moira and Jo did for me.
