Following the death of my Father I took on the role of organiser in the family which included arranging the funeral. I have never arranged a funeral before and frankly was completely lost where to start. I chose Carroll and Carroll and received an incredibly personal service from Paul himself. I knew exactly what I wanted following a discussion with Mum and Paul arranged everything following our wishes exactly. It was difficult to identify a venue for the funeral tea , Paul visited a number of places himself to assess if they fit our requirements and shortlisted the appropriate venues for me to visit. On the funeral day the cars were professional and modern , the team of staff looked after all of us really well and again ensured our wishes were fulfilled , guiding us very sensitively and professionally in what we should be doing. Paul arranged Father David to meet with us , he was brilliant , he spent time talking to Mum and reflecting on her life with Dad, amazingly at the service he talked about Dad as though he had known him forever. Paul also arranged the food for funeral tea, it was affordable, plenty of it and the quality was very good. In summary a very distressing time was made so much easier under the guidance of Paul. I know I wasn't always easy to work with but Paul was patient, communicated very well and met our wishes for every detail. I would totally recommend Carroll and Carroll in fact the best recommendation probably came from Mum who said when she dies she wants exactly the same.

We found the service provided by Paul and his team to be caring, considerate and professional. Smoothing all difficulties and making an exstermly difficult time in our lives managable. Perhaps unusually we decided to do flowers for my Auntys coffin ourselves. Paul supported all the way through this slightly unnerving, yet cathartic process with willingness, kindness, tea and coffee. His premises are beautiful and immaculate which also offered another, unexpected reassurance. I would highly recommend Paul and his team. Excellent service.

Carroll & Carroll Independent Funeral Services aspire to deliver a service that is always kind, compassionate and professional. Their team can help you arrange any kind of funeral, from traditional burial and cremation, to green funerals and non-religious services.
Conveniently located on the A58 in Leeds with ample free parking, the new Carroll & Carroll premises were opened in October 2016, offering a spacious and modern environment with a reception area to greet customers and additional comfortable private rooms. There is a large and tranquil viewing room that offers customers and their families privacy to spend time with their loved one. The team of experienced staff is also happy to visit your home when making any arrangements.
There are over 150 coffins and caskets to choose from, including cardboard, wicker, veneered and traditional woods. Any picture, design or name can be engraved into the coffin to personalise it. Carroll & Carroll can also provide a wide range of traditional and alternative funeral transport, such as horse drawn carriages, VW camper vans and motorcycle hearses.
Carroll & Carroll pride themselves on being entirely focused on their customers’ needs, ensuring every individual and family feels welcome and supported. The business is ‘dementia-friendly’ to ensure the team can deliver appropriate customer care to all their clients, and they have introduced a Pets as Therapy dog called Spangle, available to help comfort customers. They have also used their 30 years’ experience in nursing to signpost and access a wide range of supporting services.
