From the moment when Sam Gallagher came to collect my recently  deceased sister from her home to the final moment of her committal, we (the family and my sister’s carers) were cared for and advised by Paul Wilkinson on each step to take. 
My family are not Christian so some of our requests for the funeral were out of the ordinary. Paul received each one with respect and they were all implemented with such warmth that it lessened our grief.
I have no hesitation in recommending Gallaghers and also the Golden Charter Funeral plan.

When mum died, literally 4months to the day after dad died,my brother and I had no hesitation to use the services again of Gallaghers Funeral Directors. Their service is impeccable!
Mum was collected promptly and we knew she was in excellent hands. Paul once again took us under his wing and respectfully guided us through everything. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he handled situations with warmth, care and professionalism. I felt confident that everything would run smoothly with the support and dedication given. Mum indeed had a lovely send off. Paul showed real understanding and empathy and definitely goes the extra mile to ensure everything goes to plan and his reassurance through devastating times were very much appreciated.
All staff were very friendly and respectful whenever I rang or called in. They are top of the league in professionalism and friendliness. They certainly make a difficult task easier and they actually do treat you as part of the family!! Totally trustworthy. 5 star rating for sure!

Gallagher's were amazing. From the night my husband died suddenly and unexpectedly to the day of the funeral and beyond.

They were there at any time I needed them, easy to contact by phone and email.

They were also able to accommodate all my requests regarding vehicles, flowers and finding a local green burial location. The celebrant they recommended was also amazing.

I like to plan. They were able to accommodate all my requests and they also kept me updated at each point so I was comfortable that everything was in place.

The funeral went better than I expected and quite a few people said it was the best they had attended. It was a great send off for an amazing man.

Paul was professional on the day, extremely sensitive and caring. He didn't seem to mind that he was soaked, as the rain was torrential - instead he cared for us the whole time, ensuring we knew what was happening and asking us about the small decisions which needed to be made. What can I say? The incredible team at Gallaghers make the very best of the worst of times. They understand all the emotions you’re going through, they work for you to take the pressure off, advise you with empathy and true care for the relatives. Obviously they take time to look after the most important person. The person you have lost, and they treat them with love and dignity. They are a committed team.

From the moment David Galleghers were approached to take care of my mother they were quite simply amazing. Kind, considerate, understanding. Gently guiding me through the whole process of creating a wonderful, beautiful service which ultimately encapsulated who my mum was. Although at a time of deep sorrow Sam at Gallaghers was lovely to talk to and made the whole experience from start to finish uncomplicated, explained every aspect of the process which resulted in a wonderful celebration of mum's life.
