I cannot fault at all H D Tribe and Wayne Roberts in particular for the way in which my mother’s funeral was handled. Throughout Wayne and Carol in the Shoreham office dealt with me with utmost sensitivity and compassion. The chapel is beautiful and catering suite was ideal. The prices were competitive with no hidden extras. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you.

The folks at HD Tribe were amazing. From the moment Max visited us after Mum passed to my waving goodbye to the reception staff after picking up the leftover beer from the catering, everything was smooth and everybody kind, caring and helpful. Tribe understand how to help and what the family needs. They care, and we felt that Mum was in the best hands. We’re so pleased we agreed to the celebrant recommended to us and that we chose an in-house funeral service and wake. The Broadwater building has a warm and cosy feel, the chapel is very nice and the catering area upstairs easily accommodated our 45 guests. We used the recommended caterers, and the food was very nice and beautifully presented, the staff great. All the guests appreciated the warm and pleasant feel of the environment.



Plus being in-house meant we didn’t need to get in cars and go somewhere else after the cremation, which was easy for all, especially those with walking issues Apart from the practical ease, the 3 hours we had in-house meant there was no conveyor-belt feel to the service, which you can get at a crematorium.

We wouldn’t change a thing about the day of Mum’s funeral, and are 100% happy with and grateful to everyone at Tribe.

Grateful thanks to Stephen at Tribes in Broadwater for his support and for guiding us through the process of organising my mother’s funeral. The facilities at the Broadwater branch are first class and everything went very smoothly. The celebration/farewell service was very special, led by Joe Davis, and those who live-streamed the event or watched later were very grateful for modern technology. There were lots of very positive comments from all who attended about the chapel and service, and the catering facility upstairs (which saved travelling to another venue for the wake). My family and i were so grateful of the way Paul and the team at tribes helped to organise everything at such a difficult time, and to deliver an excellent service on the day. It very much felt like a celebration of my Fathers life rather than mourning his death.

I cannot speak highly enough of the way in which the company and in particular Wayne handled my late wife's funeral. He was kind and understanding and at the crematorium they conducted themselves with great dignity.

Max, at Tribes in Broadwater, made arranging our Mum's funeral a positive experience. He was compassionate and caring, whilst ensuring everything went seamlessly at a time when my sister and I were at our most emotional.
The chapel and the room upstairs, where we had Mum's wake, were calm and intimate, as well as being beautifully decorated.
Everything, from the coffin to the flowers and food, surpassed our expectations. The slideshow of Mum throughout her life was a highlight as was the eulogy performed by a celebrant called Joe Davis.
We would recommend Tribes for being professional and empathetic.

We want to thank you all at HD Tribe for the sympathy and respect you showed us when arranging my mother's cremation. You were excellent from start to finish, and your thorough organisation and communication helped us provide her with the send-off we wanted. The day after my mother passed away was a weekend, but I was so grateful to you for opening your Chapel of Rest specially to allow me to see her for the last time. The kindness and care you also showed on the day of the funeral was very much appreciated. Thank you again from all our family.
