Funerals are things that are hard - organisationally and emotionally. I have no real experience in organising a funeral
So safe Hands were an absolute blessing. They made sure I knew the key things that had to be done, patiently explained the options I had for a funeral, and then made sure every detail was planned and delivered. I could not have expected anything else
I would happily recommend Penny and the Safe Hands undertakers to anyone.

From start to finish a seamless service was provided, I have never known a funeral directors to be on hand anytime of day even on a bank holiday, I felt at ease no matter how silly I though the question was and having to do most of the planning myself I never felt alone with Penny.

Safe hands is well named: we felt  our mother was 'safe' in the space between her passing away and her funeral; we felt secure in the approach of Safe Hands to our wishes for the celebration of her splendid 99  years and reassured by Penny's unhurried help and guidance. Unstuffy and relaxed, yet professional, Safe hands accommodated the informality we were looking for and helped us honour the life our wonderful mother.

The services of a funeral director are not something that one would hope to recommend to anyone but death is part of life and we all need these things from time to time. Safe Hands were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. Their website clearly shows what services are offered and what it will cost. The well trodden cliche ‘there simply aren’t enough superlatives to describe just how superb something is’ sums up perfectly how my family feels about Safe Hands Funeral Services in Pulborough, West Sussex. 
Penny Strachan, the Director is an utterly professional, caring and dedicated lady who exuded empathy and understanding from the moment my wife and I met her. Penny held our hands through my wife’s mothers funeral which culminated in a flawless and touching farewell service. 
When a loved one passes away, emotions are completely array and the ability to think clearly is adversely affected. Penny guided us through every aspect of what needed to be done which helped enormously in the lead up to the day of the funeral. My wife and I cannot praise Safe Hands highly enough, they are the pinnacle of excellence in every way.
