My Husband, Colin Thomas ,was cared for with kindness and dignity. Joanne who was assigned to me and my family was very kind and caring. She did everything that we asked for on the day,and helped us deal with the immense greaf of my husbands death.The Celebrant, David was the best we could have asked for please pass this onto him.Do l due to all the above l would like to thankyou all most sincerely.

It would have been nice if I had been told that Eva the funeral director wasn’t going to be there on the day. The other problem was trying to get hold of somebody and having to go through a Call centre and then wait in the queue, far too stressful when you’re already stressed. Also there was no feedback on things to be done, had to keep asking.

the care of the deceased was very good. Lots of people watched online and the recording was bad. Music was played over the poem and the eulogy, the live funeral was fine.

Funeral arranger lacked knowledge regarding policy. They and their line manager notified myself two working days before funeral and on a Friday before the weekend closure. This caused myself and my family great distress.

Mark, the Funeral Director, was very respectful and sympathetic. Everything went off without a hitch i.e. car was on time, Order of Service was exactly as wanted, even the Celebrant suggested by Mark was perfect and suited the tone I wished for my mother's service.

Communication was terrible. Impossible to get hold of local branch. We had no contact from anyone for three weeks we had to do all the chasing to get the body moved from the hospital. Poor communication with the creamtorium as the original booked time had to be re-arranged as the crematorium had no record of the booking. Once Mark was involved then things moved on and the service went without a hitch. The final invoice was also wrong and is being re-issued.

I would have left an excellent review as the support and care we received from Karen and other members of staff, was absolutely brilliant. The only thing me and my family was the length of time we had to wait. My husband had died on Christmas Eve and we had to wait until the second week in February for his funeral. This caused us a lot of anxiety and stress. We have used the co-op funeral services previously and would continue to use them in the future.
