From the moment I first came in to meet Ali and start planning my Dad’s funeral service I was helped with kindness and care which went way beyond normal ‘customer care’. Right through to the service itself when Ryan directed matters at the Church and then aftercare from Ali. One could not have asked for more and I will always be very grateful for all that Holland did throughout.

At the time of utter grief on the loss of my dear wife, Ali and Steve took on the great responsibility to ensure the process of arranging the funeral was less distressing. Furthermore, even taking on the role of ensuring my wish that the reception at the nearby Chichester Park Hotel was available on one of several dates at hand. So much support and professional service that I received, made it appear I was given preferential treatment such was my gratitude at the time. But of course, I realised all Holland's clients would always receive the same sincere, dedicated and most professional service. My family and I thank you Ali and Steve for your sincere dedication to service for our loss.

Like a lot of families who lose a loved one we wished to ensure our Mum had the kind of funeral she would have wanted. We decided to use the Co-Op Funeral Services in Chichester and were so pleased we did. Mum had requested an essential funeral, which is the basic package. Although this was the case we met with the funeral director Ali Welsh who sensitively guided us through our options helping us to put together the perfect funeral for Mum. Ali was a real diamond and we felt she really empathised with what we were experiencing. The funeral itself was everything we as a family could have hoped for and felt just right for our Mum. We are so thankful for the overall professionalism, care and sensitivity we received throughout from the Co-Op Funeral Services which had such a positive impact on our grief making the whole process so much more. bearable.

From beginning to end FAHolland's team were caring, helpful and empathetic to our mood. As a company they were anxious to let us know that they were available at any time to talk, discuss, or review and change our choices. Ali was a wonderful, ever available contact and kept us updated as each element of my aunt's two services (cremation and celebration) was finalised to ensure we were happy with the arrangements made. Ali and Ryan (the Funeral Director) worked well as a partnership to ensure the smooth running of both gatherings. Fr. Martin was also a brilliant leader for the proceedings with a calm, composed and infectious demeanour. Serious or light in mood as required. I know I speak for the whole family and friends when I say that we couldn't have given Aunt a better send off. Music, flowers, beautiful coffin all just right. We are indebted to FA Holland for their care of both Aunt and us.

I was very happy with the way Steve dealt with the arrangements for my husband's funeral. Both he and Alison treated me with compassion and understanding (and a little humour at times!) during a difficult period. Communication was excellent and guidance given on certain aspects that I was unsure of. I would certainly use their services again but hopefully not too soon.

I think that in my dealings with Ali and Steve they went beyond the expected professionalism one would expect at this time. I felt cared for and was given any time I needed to talk about my late son and all arrangements.
They exercised flexibility when trying to accommodate a family member undergoing medical treatment. The funeral was not a religious service and very individual and reflective of the deceased life. The celebrate suggested was a great choice.
Saddest day of my life, but could walk away feeling the funeral was perfect, just as I wanted it to be

F A Holland Funeral Care, from collecting my Wife, looking after her and giving me the support I required. The complete team where excellent. My wife’s daughter rang me after the Funeral, unfortunately she had Covid and wasn’t able to enter the Crematorium, but she told me Steve Jefferies had looked after her and her husband by supplying seats and water so they could sit outside and watch and listen to the service. I could not have asked for better care from a great Team. God bless you all.
