Co-op funeral care Livingston provided an excellent dignified service for my dear Uncle Martin who recently passed away. Thank you to Pauline in the office for all you support and patience in arranging a funeral via telephone. Thanks also to Jamie for the dignified funeral services.

Dear Jamie,
thank you so much for your. Without your help I do not know what we could have managed to achieve for Walter. At every stage I felt I could count on you to help us in making decisions and with sourcing what was needed to get us through to yesterday. The Livingston Inn were very good and I am pleased they could accommodate our needs so well. Everybody who attended were pleased that Madeleine was able to contribute and I was especially pleased that you managed to rescue the powerpoint presentation with Amazing Grace playing in the background. The minister reversing the hymns was a big help as was the words appearing on screen. I had left my reading glasses in the car and was panicking as I was not sure of the words of all the verses of “All Things Bright and Beautiful”. From the pipe tunes played as the coffin arrived through to “The Entertainer” by Scott Joplin this was a true reflection of my husband and the Dad the kids loved.
We cannot thank you enough. As we were coming home my son said he would definitely use you again. I had to say “not for a wee while”. Yesterday was a day of tears and laughter and Walter the “Great Guy “ shining through.

Everyone was so respectful of mum & kind to us from the very first call. The funeral was so beautifully done from the limo driver, the hearse and flowers to the photo reel and the music. The celebrant was also amazing.

Mum would have been so happy with the arrangements. I feel everyone involved made a difficult day that bit easier.

Rebecca was dealing with our mum and from the beginning to the end she was above and beyond the care we had expected. She would always greet us with respect and show her feelings towards our family. Rebecca displayed mum in a way that’s exceptional and showed great love and attention to the way mum was to finally look.

The staff at the Coop in Livingston are very caring, kind and thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble and very approachable.

Very professional,efficient and empathetic service. For a family in grief they made all the arrangements very easy for us including the excellent choice of the Humanist celebrant, John Porterfield. Even with the horrendous weather we had on the day, the Funeral Director stuck to the ritual of leading out the hearse from the funeral parlour and also leading towards the Crematorium. Highly reommended.
