Excellent service from the initial visit to discuss and organise the funeral for my husband to the actual funeral. They were professional, respectful and kept me well informed on what was happening and answering any queries I had. On the day of the funeral everything went smoothly and exactly as I had hoped for, on what was obviously a very emotional day.

James, Sue and the rest of the team at Walton & Taylor were extremely helpful, informative and happy to accommodate all our requests for my father’s service (from the piper to the tartan rug to the extra photos in the order of service). Their attention to detail and regular communication with us during the planning period was great and the service itself went exactly as we had wanted – a truly uplifting celebration of my dad’s life, which he would have loved. When you have never organised a funeral before, it can be a very daunting prospect at a time of great emotion. Walton & Taylor guided us sensitively through the process and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else coping with a bereavement.

James was able to organise white cars for my Mum’s funeral to meet her wishes, and also arrange for the wicker coffin to be sprayed white. He also liaised with the venue for the wake and the church and crematorium  to ensure we were able to have exactly what we wanted for the day. They helped us truly celebrate my Mum’s life in a way she would have loved.

I chose this funeral director because it is totally independent of the Co-op organisation.
James who runs the Rugby office was professional throughout. He was calm, and accommodated all of my suggestions and last minute changes. I am not very computer literate and preferred the face to face meeting or phone conversations we had to finalise details. Thankfully my son was able to help with the computer stuff.

I will be pleased to recommend Walton and Taylor to friends.

My Father passed away in 1987 and Walton and Taylor were the funeral directors who were charged with his arrangements. So impressed with the care and dignity shown for my Dad, my Mother stipulated to us that she wanted Walton and Taylor's to care for her when her time came.
Sadly that time came this year.
From start to finish they were fantastic and showed the same care and dignity as they had 31 years earlier.
We were never pressured into anything we didn't feel comfortable with and allowed to instruct them without any "sales chat"
Thank you James and Sue for all the care and guidance you showed us when arranging my Mothers funeral.

Not a criticism but maybe tell family when the deposit is due. I am aware that it is stated on the back of the invoice, but I failed to read it at the time and I was mortified when you had to remind me.
God bless and hope to see you when my time comes
