Promise of 'being with you throughout' was not lived up to. Required chasing to sort out basic things like contact with funeral celebrant and arranging for doctors to certify. Over solicitous communication which felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily old fashioned. Just simple respect and clear compassionate communication is fine without the hushed voices.  Funeralzone link was only sent out a few hours before the service. Had we wished to use this it would have been useless.  The service provided on the day itself was fine and all went smoothly.

From start to finish everybody we dealt with were professional, ,compassionate , helpful & kind , thus making a very sad , difficult time seem so much easier ..... I would recommend 100%

    My family and myself would like to really thank the co-operative for helping us at a really sad time by arranging a lovely funeral for our sister, working effectively but without fuss sparing all of us any additional stress.

    Thank you to Julie and her excellent team for making our mum's funeral such a special occasion. She was a great lady and the whole team's empathy, professionalism and attention to detail from the moment that she arrived gave us great confidence that the funeral would be  the special occasion that it was.     The staff at Co op funeral parlour on Bilton Road RUGBY showed true compassion in handling my mother Pauline Dormans funeral especially Julie a lovely lady who ensured that everything we required from order of service brochures to entry exit music for the church and rainsbrook crematorium were met. The flowers were beautiful.  When my family went to visit mum in their chapel of rest I was nervous to see her in the coffin Julie stayed with us until we were comfortable .  Mum chose the Co-op to conduct her funeral as we had an excellent experience with them in 2013 when they handled my dad's funeral.

    We would like to thank Coop funeral care for all their help and care given to oùr family during the recent loss of my mother, Margaret jeanne Kilding.

    Everything was as it was meant to be except the photograph of my wife which was intended to be placed on her coffin in the church was forgotten by the funeral directer

    Rachael was lovely to deal with, all of the Co-Op staff were incredibly professional and respectful. You feel like you are in good hands. 
    It would seem sensible to have a checklist between the Crematorium and the Co-Op though as It would have highlighted that our Order of Service hadn't been delivered. It would have been distressing for us if we had only booked a single slot as we were then running later than planned.  They were delivered along with the collection boxes 3 days prior to the service. The spelling of our surname was incorrect too at the chapel, I imagine this is the responsibility of Rainsbrook but attention to detail at a sad time is important

    My husband died in a hospice and the Funeral Directors were very efficient in taking his body into their care.
    Discussions with Rachel regarding the plans were clear and informative and she took time to let us check things with family in the States before proceeding.
    All the staff were so understanding about little things as well as the major issues. Nothing was too much trouble. I could visit my husband with an hours notice and everything about the funeral office was restful and calm. A great environment for such sad occasions.
    The funeral was organised efficiently and the gentlemen attending could not have been nicer and so respectful. Paul was very helpful during the whole situation.
    I couldnt recommend them more highly for looking after my husband and providing him with a meaningful funeral.

    The Co -op Funeral service gave me and my family excellent service for my husbands funeral. The staff were all very sensitive and helpful to our needs at such a very traumatic and difficult time. Grief is such an unreal and distressing thing to cope with like nothing else and you need every bit of support you can get.

    This is the third time we have used Co-op Funeralcare in the last 2 years, the last 2 times being within the last 6 months. The first time was through the Coventry branch for my husband Mr. Edward Tomlinson and the 2nd and 3rd times with the Rugby branch for our parents.

    I have to say we have always been very impressed with how the staff conduct themselves and how helpful they have been. They have a very good way of dealing with what is a difficult process and I have always found them to go out of their way to make the occasion a memorable one rather than something you dread or want to forget.

    I don't recall being asked for this feedback when my husband died which is why I have mentioned the Coventry Branch, especially Tom Stokes who helped me arrange a rather complicated burial at sea of the ashes.

    Down the generations in our family we have used the Co-op Funeralcare and I would always recommend them to anyone who asked my advice. I would also like to commend Melanie Sopp, the Inter-Faith Minister, for her understanding and help at these difficult times and for anyone who isn't of a particularly religious persuasion she would be a very good choice to officiate.
