When I used this service for my dad it was excellent. But for my mum I had a different person handling it and she just was not as good. I didn't feel confident in what was happening.

in a very professional way. The guidance and support that was offered to me 

was very much appreciated at the sad loss of my father.

The services provided were excellent from start to finish. On the day of the funeral the funeral director (Angela) was very well organised and everybody commented on how exceptional she looked, her dress code was unexpected but absolutely spot on...

We chose you to arrange my father's funeral, because you took care of my mother's so expertly 5 years ago. To our relief it was the same person who took care of us this time too. It could not have been made easier. Sharon took us through all the arrangements with sensitivity, practicality and common sense. The funeral itself was faultless. Everything was dealt with in a highly professional and sympathetic manner, and special needs relating to the military honours arranged for the funeral were well handled. It was a most fitting service for an ex-soldier, brother and friend to many. All attending were impressed, mainly due to Taylor's excellent service. Special thanks to Sharon for her personal involvement.

Essential funeral package not at all clear as to what was included in the cost. My experience with John Taylor was very stressful I certainly wont be recommending them.

Compared to are first experience this was completely different very disorganised and hard work not what you need after losing your mother 
On the day they where very good but doesn’t make up for there overall unprofessional treatment

The previous minister at our church rated John Taylor's amongst others locally and so I went to them 5 years ago when my father died and I returned to them when my wife died. They again were straightforward, caring and efficient. They are also part of the co-operative movement.

Sadly I have had to use John Taylor three times since 2014 and on all occasions the service has been excellent. All the procedures were explained fully at the beginning and I was kept up to date of progress prior to the funeral. The funeral went well and all the staff were very attentive throughout.
