John Taylor handled all details regarding my mother's funeral sensitively and professionally. Special thanks have to go to Ifer and Funeral Director, Angela for their caring manner, help and advice.

Overall very good. Just 3 areas that could be improved. 1. We were given an initial slot but this required confirmation. We paid a 50% deposit and were then contacted later in the day to say we couldn’t have that slot  we were offered another one , a week earlier, but at a very early time. When we asked for a slot a little later we were told that there were no other slots available and, as we were purchasing the basic package, we didn’t have the option to choose different slots. This should have been told to us up front and we may have made a different decision. The early timing of the slot meant that some elderly relatives were unable to attend. 2. Friends and family who wanted to visit Tony prior to the funeral booked slots directly with  the Kenilworth office. I was very surprised to receive an email asking me to contact people to ask them to change their slot. This should never have happened. 3. The flowers that we purchased for the top of the coffin were not placed there. Neither were they available to view when we came out of the chapel. My husband and I never got to see the flowers that we purchased.

    Exceptional service throughout from the first phone call received after my Auntie’s death on Christmas Day to the funeral itself. Every member of staff we encountered, without exception, treated us in a very respectful, sympathetic manner, nothing was too much trouble for any of them.

    From start to finish we were treated with great respect. Communications were first class between ourselves and the Celebrant. Although On A Tight Timescale Thing Were Kept Moving And Everything Worked Out Well

    The Day Off The Funeral Ran Smoothly And Everything We Wanted Was Done

    The service on the day all went very well (Angela was wonderful - and so stylishly dressed)- but organising it was a real problem!
    The member of staff who was due to meet with me on Zoom to organise it (as I do not live locally) was ill on the day. I was not informed that the meeting was not going ahead, and it took several days, and several false starts, to get someone to take over the case. Once Sarah was on the job all went smoothly but I could have done without all the additional stress in the interim at such a diffucult time.

    So well looked after the moment we walked in the office and met Ifer we felt we were in safe hands as he took us through the necessary arrangements kept in touch along the way. My daughter and I felt our really difficult situation we were  experiencing was met with sympathy but a general sense of care Thankyou Jenny and Claire

    Poor customer care received from the Kenilworth office. The office seemed short-staffed and disorganized and I found it shut earlier than the advertised time of 5pm on several occasions. The Funeral Arranger didn't seem to be fully on top of things much of the time. Contradictory information sometimes given, making the process more confusing than it needed to be. Lack of support on the day before the funeral. Badly organized on the day of the funeral, resulting in the hearse taking the wrong route more than once and only avoiding going into a supermarket car park by reversing into a No Entry road - No acknowledgement of this from the Funeral Director and no apology offered. This poor treatment made a difficult day even harder and left me with some very unwelcome memories. The funeral cost over £4000, half of which was paid in advance. There is no excuse for such poor service. Needless to say, I will not be recommending John Taylor, Kenilworth.

    I have no proper words at present since the tragic loss of our beautiful and amazing daughter, however in short the service these professionals gave were truly befitting to our amazing girl.     Thank you for all you did to. Make the day go smoothly.  
    Special thank to the gentleman who was in charge on the day.  I was especially pleased as my dog Honey was able to walk into the chapel behind the coffin and take her position in the front pews.

    Also thanks go to Ifra in the office who did all he could to help me with the planning of the day. Although young and inexperienced he was very helpful and had a gentle manner.

    Immensely difficult to get in touch with your office. Phone calls not returned. Very poor communications. It was a non-attended funeral & I still have not been told that it took place.
    The hospital where the deceased died said they would leave his wristwatch on his body - have heard nothing about what happened to it.
