Initial meeting of staff was very disappointing.
On walking into the office certain individuals were extremely scruffy wearing completely unironed and stained clothing. This is not a good office first impression for anyone at anytime.
For me personally, the initial conversations I found to be somewhat unprofessional with several poor attempts at wit about very sensitive issues when you are not necessarily in a coherent frame of mind. For example, oh, we would be forgiven for not having a Coop funeral plan. No, we paid considerably more than a coop funeral plan would have cost!
We experienced several issues with emails not being sent to us, the crematorium and the Celebrant. Emails containing incorrect information and in a very untimely / late manor leading to and causing a lot of stress in the available time left to meet ministers, choosing music and readings and being able to forward the information to complete the Orders of Service.
By now we had lost confidence in those that you think are there to help and guide you through a very upsetting time, in what should be performed in a quiet, timely and dignified way.
Having said all of the above, my mum looked peaceful and well presented in the chapel of rest and the day of the funeral was performed very professionally in a dignified and respectful way. Thank you Robert and team.

The service we received was fairly good but there were a few things about the day which were difficult.  The time of arrival was later than expected in Warwick and we were waiting a while before we entered the vehicles.  This made us late and more time needed to be considered for the extensive roadworks in the Canley area.  Unfortunately the air conditioning in the limousine was not working properly which wasn’t ideal on a hot day.  Finally, our only hymn was cut short without us being notified due to time constraints which confused the mourners.  These are improvements which would all help provide a better service in the future.

Having used John Taylor’s for my Mums funeral 15yrs ago, I knew Dad would want the same so we approached the Kenilworth Branch and spoke to Abbi who became our assistant. From the moment we met her she was lovely, we clicked immediately and she showed a lot of care for me as a grieving daughter as well as for the details of the day. 
Overall we were thrilled with how it went, the only issues we had were several mistakes on the order of service, all of which I picked up on except one, I was gutted this went out to our congregation but we have got 20 corrected copies to keep. There was also a mistake in informing us about the amount we would owe for these, this was not our fault but we’ve agreed to pay it, I do, however, suggest they change the way they lay their cost sheets out so their staff can understand them better and inform their clients correctly. 
Angela, our Funeral Director on the day, looked absolutely stunning and was very professional and I was really happy to have the girls present who had cared for Dad so well…..we were blown away by how Dapper he looked when we visited him for the last time, extremely emotional but also very comforting. 
Thank you all so much for making Dads special celebration so perfect.

My father had a pre paid funeral with the CoOp using John Taylor Funeral services. Everything was handled perfectly and with utmost compassion with only one meeting required in person to discuss what the family wanted. On the day everything went like clockwork. The staff were incredible, the celebrant appointed did a fantastic job and the service was exactly what we wanted. The order of service was a work of art in itself. Can not rate John Taylor highly enough

John Taylor's looked after my husband and took good care of him whilst on his final journey. They looked after his family and were very sympathetic and caring during all off our arrangements with them. John Taylor's delivered everything that we asked of them in terms of Memory Condolence Book, Canvas, Flowers and on the day of his funeral all team members were outstanding. We cant thank the John Taylor's Team enough.

I was looked after by Karen, she was so professional and thoughtful throughout and made a tough situation better. She always kept me up to date with such a loving tone and temperament. I would also like to send my gratitude to Nigel Nobes who was our Civil Celebrant for the cremation. He was so kind, knowledgeable and spoke about my late Aunt with such love as though he knew her himself. It was a beautiful service, filled with good memories. A beautiful send off for her. All of the staff at John Taylor Funeralcare Kenilworth have provided us with a wonderful service, from our first contact right through to the day of the funeral itself.

We always felt that we were in capable hands throughout and were looked after well.
