On the day the service was excellent. Kirsty did a final tour down Dads old street which was very moving and meant a lot to family and neighbours. The driver Bill took a detour to the sea front which was one of  Dads favourite places. Karen was very efficient and understanding with a friendly manner.  She did an excellent job with the Order of Service. Thanks to all at the Co-op, Linda

The staff at North Shield who supported us due to Wallsend being closed were so lovely. Every call and visit was dealt with respect and care. No problem was too much and they always got straight back to you if you had any questions.

I had previously arranged a prepayment funeral plan with the Coop to alleviate some issues I expected to encounter for various reasons. Despite this, additional problems unfortunately did appear not related to the Coop Funeral Care plan itself.
The Coop had to deal with their own additional problems of office relocation due to storm damage however throughout the whole process all the staff I dealt with from start to finish were so helpful, considerate and supportive to the family.
In particular I would like to thank Rebecca Hebron who guided me through the entire process and the various problems and obstructions that arose. Nothing was too much trouble and where she was able to help and support she was there when I needed anything. Thank you again.

Right from the start the staff were helpful and explained everything concisely. They recommended a funeral suitable for the deceased wishes and the budget available. Rebecca Hebron was brilliant and get in touch throughout. The service delivered by Kieron Ellenden was lovely. I’m very happy with all aspects of  the Co-op’s funeral care.
