The professional care provided by the whole team enabled the family to navigate a highly emotional journey with as much ease as possible and offered Dad the respect and regard he deserved.

From the moment that we met with Joe it felt comfortable talking about the arrangements that we had to make, Joe guided us through a very tough time and this made  all the difference to the hard decisions that needed to be made. Throughout the whole process  it was never too much for him, from me changing my mind over my chosen charity , to  choosing pictures. 
The day of the service Joe was very professional and calm, and just made things easier for the family. 
It’s never easy when you lose a loved one but Joe and Manor House staff made all the difference to me and my family during this sad time.

A respectful, professional service throughout the 3 week period from the passing of my mother until her funeral.
Questions,needs ,advice were dealt with promptly and with great empathy for family members .
Visits to the parlour were excellent and family felt supported.
The team listened to and met all our wishes.
The whole funeral day we were treated with compassion and respect and my mother was treated with the utmost dignity .Thank you Simon and everyone ❤️

Having previously used Manor House Funeral Services in 2007 for my father’s funeral when the service was excellent we decided to use them again for my mother’s funeral however we found the experience very different.   During an already stressful and emotional time we had several issues, telephone calls needed to be made several times as staff weren’t available, systems were being changed so there were issues with making payment, paperwork had names and address spelt incorrectly, particularly my mother’s name, despite being correct on the initial documentation.  Appointments were rescheduled when we had made arrangements for us all to visit my mother together in the chapel of rest, due to staffing issues.  We used funeral zone but the date of my mother’s death and my name were incorrect and required amending, again these were correct on the initial paperwork.  Fortunately the funeral itself went ahead without any issues.  I would find it difficult to recommend Manor House.
