We were giving excellent service from start to finish. No pressure to add extra or have to decide on the spot. Our funeral director Joe went above and beyond to make sure Bob and our family were looked after and that everything ran smoothly on the day of the service. This is the second time I have called upon Manor House Funeral Directors. In 2013 for my mother funeral. Now in 2024 I called  upon them for my husband’s funeral. MHF are really professional. They traveled to Slough and  brought my husband back home to Sunderland.They help me through a period of my life  for the second time. A period of my life I didn’t think I would ever get through. I couldn’t speak of Manor House  Funerals more  highly .

This was a very traumatic time when my wife died suddenly but Manor House were amazing. They were so sympathetic to what was happening, there was never any pressure it was like talking to a friend. Joe Lannin was there ever step of the way I don't know how I would have coped without him sorting every little detail out he is first class. I would not hesitate to recommend Manor House in the future.

Having used the services of Manor House for dad previously, we had no reservations instructing again.


Excellent service from first contact to funeral itself. Mark Smith has managed both funerals and his compassion, dedication, empathy to a family loss is first class.

The staff in the background were also very helpful, showed empathy and compassion. Very professional.

Highly recommended.
