We used the co-op for my mams funeral and they were excellent from the moment we rang them once she passed away. The care and empathy they showed us was second to none. They guided us through every step of the way at a very difficult time. Nothing was a bother to them and the service given to us was absolutely fantastic. We are eternally grateful to Emma and Claire in the Sea Road branch  in Fulwell for their caring ways, their patience and their support at a very difficult time for us. From start to finish the service was superb. Claire was professional but caring and natural too. We were given lots of advice but not pressured into making decisions without time to think them through. Nothing was too much trouble. When we came into the office we mainly dealt with Jessica who was lovely and so well organised. We saw Holly(ie?) on one occasion and she too was lovely.

Everything went to plan, except the awful weather; Storm Babet! The drivers were so caring too, we never felt rushed. A funeral is such a hard day especially when you are parents saying goodbye to a much loved son but you all made it so much easier. Thank you.

The only point I would like to raise is that an invoice for the transportation of my dad to the south should have been posted or emailed to me.
Leaving a voice massage, which for some reason didn’t show on my phone is not reliable.
