Sandra our funeral director helped us every step of way and nothing was any trouble with anything we asked. 

With this being the 1st funeral we’ve had to arrange Sandra guided us with compassion and knowledge resulting in my dad having a fantastic send off.

Tonight put me at ease as soon as I attended my appointment,she was very caring and compassionate.Explained everything in detail and kept in touch from start to finish. Then give me a courtesy call to see how our day had gone with our family meal of remembrance for my husband. I highly recommend the Co op Direct Cremation.

A special Thankyou to the wonderful Dale Cox, she is a special lady and we are truely thankful for all her support and an outstanding service for our mam. Everything was arranged with the minimum of fuss and with ease. Sandra, the Funeral Director, dealt with all of our queries quickly and efficiently and kept us informed of the things we needed to know. A number of people commented on how well the funeral went and that it would have been the one that Esther wanted.

Initial information given on phone incorrect. Funeral organiser judgemental and didn't have information at her fingertips eg prices. Also gave wrong information about crematorium to be used. Manager intersided and said she would investigate. Follow up before ceremony good but no follow up after ceremony though promised verbally and in confirmation letter.

Difficult to assess as only a limited experience of arranging a funeral. However it was quite stressful at times due to problems accessing people responsible for documentation and a wasted journey to funeral parlour when person had been called away. Wrong area of deceased printed in newspaper which was then amended the following day.Then another three journeys to confirm order of service and photos as graphic department weren’t responding.
However impeccable funeral directors on the day which was the most important part.
