All of the staff at the North Shields branch were absolutely fantastic. The service and treatment we received was impeccable from start to end.
Kirsty was extremely professional and went above and beyond her job role making what we thought would be a really difficult situation so easy to deal with. The compassion and care that Kirsty showed to our family was second to none and very much appreciated.
Jill was so passionate about the care she showed to our Mam during her time with them, ensuring every fine detail was covered to get our Mam ready for her send off. Jill also made the journey to the funeral much easier to bear expressing so much compassion towards our family. 
I would highly recommend the North Shields branch as we could not have asked for a better service from the staff. They pulled out all of the stops and made sure all of our wishes were made possible to give our Mam the perfect send off and we can’t thank them enough for everything.

The funeral for our dad was absolutely outstanding.we all felt comfortable knowing he had an amazing send off.we all were treat with the upmost respect from the start till our dads funeral . My dad was a military man and our dads funeral director Rebecca or becca went out of her way to get a military flag for his coffin a bugaler and a guard of honour. The guard of honour was really special and I wish I could of videod it .The humanist Andy Johnson was great to thankyou for making a sad time a really special day my dad would of loved it kindest regards Lesley storey

Amazing care and respect for my late father and our family from taking dad into care by Chris Phillips and Stephen Lillie to presentation in the chapel and keeping me informed throughout the process. 
Irene phoned regularly to keep me prompted and Gary Stafford was very good with my mum when we made the arrangements. 
The day was respectful and full of love. Certainly tailor made as your advert stated by Stephen Lillie , Gary and Alan (sorry I can’t recall the other bearers name ). 
The Co-op are head and shoulders above other National companies and these guys deserve an accolade for supporting me and my Mum even when they weren’t on duty. 
Absolute dedication and professionalism. 
My mum was dreading the funeral but got through it with Stephen’s guidance and she now remembers the day with pride and felt the love and support from not only our friends and family but also co-op colleagues from both North Shields and Blyth.

Claire our funeral director presented as a genuinely warm, kind and caring person. She was very knowledgeable, provided us with all relevant information in a clear and concise way and was always at the end of the phone when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. We have nothing but praise not just for Claire but for all staff within the office and those that escorted Mum to her resting place. We wish to send our heart felt thanks to all.
