Co-op funeralcare at Houghton were great in taking care of my Dad following his passing. They dealt with everything with care and attention and took away much of the stress following my family’s loss, in ensuring the arrangements were all taken care of for us.

The whole team were wonderful, professional and caring. David, the funeral director kept in constant touch before the day of mum's funeral and then made F.U. calls afterwards. Although I don't wish arranging a funeral on anyone I would highly recommend Co-op Funeral Care if needed. They are exemplary

David, Lisa and Hollie were so kind and supportive right from Day 1 all the way through to the Funeral itself. Dad was well looked after right from the start and treated with the utmost dignity and respect throughout. The office kept in constant contact to keep us updated. Our grateful thanks are also extended to Daniel Laughton, Funeral Care Manager of the Hartlepool Branch who conducted the funeral on the day and to Graeme Flaxen, Funeral Celebrant who gave Dad's Eulogy. It was a beautiful service and the send off Dad would only have dreamed of. I highly recommend their Tailored Funeral Service if you want those extra special little touches that mean so much.

Thank you guys for all your support and help, and for making the whole process so easy. It all made for a special day we can treasure always.

As a family we have dealt with the same funeral directors over several years. The last funeral was like the previous, professional, helpful, compassionate, courteous and no problems were encountered.  As a team they were all wonderful.

We found everyone at the Co op Funeral Care at Houghton le Spring to be very caring & empathetic with the family throughout organising & carrying out Mam's funeral on May 13th. David, Lisa & all the team looked after our Mam, Olive, while she was resting with them, & were always very supportive whenever we visited. The attention to detail on our wishes for Mam's funeral really showed through on the day, as they made sure it was all about her, while at the same time supporting us through our most difficult of days. We can't thank everyone there enough for their care & professionalism, it really was appreciated. Many thanks to a lovely team.
