After my mam passed away I rang Co op funeral care in Sherrif Hill direct and asked for Simon to carry out mams funeral arrangements, this was because Simon dealt with my father's funeral last year and the service received was extremely good and of course professional so I wanted the same for mam. I find Simon and Cheryle very good at the jobs they do I find they make the whole process most comforting and professional and I thank all the team very much for the part they played helping me towards a wonderful send off for mam. In most respects I was very happy about the services rendered. Having used a smaller family firm for other relatives in the past, I did not find it as easy to keep in touch. For instance whereas I have been used to an almost immediate response to emails from a family firm, I was not so happy that I once had to wait two days for a reply. I was also frustrated that telephone calls planned to take place at a certain time, did often occur later than expected. The day after my mum died, I did seem to spend much of my time waiting for calls which did add to the stress I was feeling at the time.

However after the initial delays, I was more than happy with the services rendered and I was particularly happy with the dignity and respect provided on the day of my Mum's funeral. In the immediate run up to the funeral, support was admirably given when making any final arrangements and answering last minute questions.
