The overall service from Coop was very good - I particularly recommend the Webcast service for people who can't attend on the day and to watch the service again as it all goes so quickly.

Horribly inept, negligent and unprofessional people and service.
Twice the GP made an appointment to view the body, by pre-arranged appointment, and BOTH TIMES the business was closed and there was nobody there to meet him. What a dreadful waste of a GP's time!
Then the funeral home lost the body which was moved on multiple occasions (why???!). The cremated remains were finally located 1.5 hours/two counties away. I have zero confidence that these are indeed the ashes of my loved one. Do you have any idea how that feels?

In my view everything was very well organised. Communication was good and comprehensive. I only had to deal with three people. Dayle as the overall co-ordinator, Anita, the celebrant and Peter who did a last minute check on details of the service two days before the funeral. All played their part well and the service went off without a hitch. My thanks go to them all.

I wish to thank the team at Walton funeral care for an excellent job all those involved did well. Lisa Davis was a great support and her choice of Friar Richard Biggerstaff proved ideal. Sebastian the funeral director was cheerful and friendly and also did an excellent job.

The service provided was not fit for purpose and caused unnecessary stress and upset at a time when you are grieving a devastating loss of your loved one and need support and assurance. Lindsey is very friendly, however that is not enough.There was issue after issue from beginning to the very end.
Various other professionals involved in my dad's funeral that were outstanding, all had negative comments regarding Coop Walton. I only wish we'd known beforehand.

The help and advice that we received from Kingston branch ( Mainly Charli ) was brilliant, cannot fault it. We originally went to Walton-on-Thames branch having made an appointment, but on arrival the place was shut. After contacting Kingston they made an arrangement for Sebastion ( Putney branch) to meet us at Walton. He was wonderful. We greatly appreciate all the help that they gave us. The guys with the funeral cars were also wonderful, helpful, respectful gave us a lot of confidence at such a sad occasion. Thank you everyone.

The day of the funeral went very well, and I have already sent an email to praise the professionalism and sympathetic attitude of Peter, the funeral director on the day, and our celebrant, Paul van Essen.

Why I can't rate as an 'excellent' is that we had some problems pre-funeral, mainly due to there being staff sickness at Walton branch. I had to drive to Kingston to complete forms and pay the deposit, and Charly and Helen had to take on our case and they were professional, with good people skills. The other problem, as described in my email, was when I arrived to see Nigel in the Walton chapel of rest; the manager sent to oversee my visit arrived just before the time allotted and then spent 15 minutes trying to open the front door. From what he said, the problem with the barrel in the lock was well-known, so I was dismayed that this was so and it made my already emotional visit more stressful.
