Angela spent time explaining every step, even checking back to my Mothers funeral details in 2013 to make sure we got everything just how my Dad would have wanted it.

Couldn’t have asked for more.

The team at Stonemans were wonderful - showing compassion and professionalism from the first phone call. Angela assisted us through the booking process and gave us time to consider the options and was just generally lovely to deal with. She and the team showed dad respect throughout and especially on the day.
I would definitely recommend Angela and the team and would use them again if I'm ever in the same unfortunate situation of needing their services.

From beginning to end, Stoneman have been everything I could have wanted and more. Angela in the Tadworth office was warm, welcoming and supportive through the whole process. Any member of the team I spoke to was very helpful. The gentlemen caring for dad on the day of the funeral were very professional and took every bit of extra love and care where they could. Although I hope I won’t be using them again anytime soon, I would recommend Stoneman again in a heartbeat, thank you all for giving dad a lovely send off.

I recently lost my beautiful dad  
A lovely lady called Angela Mc Tear came to my home and organised the funeral with me. 
She was very professional and friendly which helped my anxiety at such a difficult time. There was another wonderful lady called Karen which I saw at the funeral parlour it was hard walking through those doors but the  friendly, engaging chatty lady really helped me get through it. The communication was fantastic the team on the day of the funeral were very professional and there is the lovely mollie who talked me through everything on the day. Thank you to all of you

Stoneman Funeral Service organised a flawless, modern and highly personalised day for our Mum last week. Many of the friends and family who attended commented that it was a beautiful and uplifting service. Throughout our engagement with Stoneman we felt that Mum – as well as us – were very well looked after which helped removed a lot of the anxiety we could have otherwise felt. Highly recommended.

Thank you for a very professional service. We felt the process of organising the funeral was not stressful thanks to your experienced and caring staff. All went well on the day (19 March) and staff were excellent with the right level of empathy and respect. The cars arrived in pristine condition and on time.

However, there was some lack of communication. Firstly, we were not advised when our father was transferred from the hospital to the Redhill site and had to follow this up. Secondly, when we met with Stoneman on 1 March to discuss funeral arrangements and again on 8 March to hand over clothing, there was no mention that the person we were dealing with at Stoneman would be on leave for the next couple of weeks. This was surprising since we had been invited to call them at any time prior to the funeral. It would have been nice to have been informed of this and meet the person standing in. In addition, the expected letter detailing funeral arrangements did not arrive until 14 ...  March. On contacting Stoneman, another staff member kindly emailed a copy of the letter with attachments to us.

Our sincere thanks to Stoneman, and particularly Val, for the kindness, guidance and support given to our family throughout this immensely sad time.  Dad's funeral was everything we had hoped it would be.  He would have been very pleased with the send off we gave him, and that has given us great comfort in the weeks since. I'm pleased we recorded the funeral service as my mum watches it regularly, feeling the love with which it was delivered.

I cannot thank Val at Stoneman in Tadworth enough for her professionalism, kindness and care when arranging my husband's funeral.  She accommodated all of our requests and made sure that we were happy with every aspect of the funeral, providing expert advice when we asked for it. Nothing was too much trouble and she gave us all the time we needed.

On the day, Val and her team ensured everything went smoothly and were genuinely nice people to have alongside us.  We are very grateful for your help in ensuring my husband had a lovely and fitting ceremony, thank you.

Following the devastating loss of our son, Stonemans were recommended by my neighbour as an independent family run funeral directors.

We met Val who looked after us. We were met with kindness, empathy, professionalism and just loveliness. We had a number of requests and each one was no issue. Val’s default position is a yes.

The funeral was run with precision and it was a beautiful service and committal. What is the worst thing that could have happened, was not made worse or difficult, by our contact with Val. Thank you.

I visited a more local funeral company and was told to come back when you have the coroner’s report. The following day I met Val. She  was compassionate, sincere and caring, totally understanding personal needs. The day of our service was perfect. Val and her team were so professional, which should make your company proud xx

Stonemans service was exceptional from start to finish.
This is the second funeral they have conducted for me and each one they have shown me compassion and empathy.
Val and her pallbearers made myself and my daughters feel so at ease in such an emotional time from the loss of a beloved husband and father, to making all arrangements and on the final day.

We have used the company twice before unfortunately, and I had no reservations about using them for my Mum who recently passed. They are very good at their jobs and we received excellent advice and very fair costs. Nothing was to much trouble and their help was very warmly received. I hope not to have to use them in near future but I know when I need them they will help. I thank them in helping making the send off my mum very special .
