Every aspect of the funeral was excellent, except one thing. My time agreed to see my father was changed from the original time we had agreed on at the funeral parlor. But the change was handled well in a sensitive way

The staff at Sunbury, especially Michela, made such a difficult time more bearable. We were received with compassion and understanding together with a professional service which made sure the service reflected the man we knew and love.  The staff were always available to answer any questions or offer advice to accommodate our wishes, and put forward professional 3rd party contacts to ensure all aspects of the service were covered. As a family we can’t thank them enough.

    Michela and Tracey were really helpful and sympathetic and helped us make decisions at a very difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble for them and everyone treated both our mother and ourselves with dignity, please accept our thanks for your help.

    Everything the COOP did was to help me and put me at ease
    I was dreading the Funeral day originally ,however instead of a Chaplain a Celebrant conducted the service Called Benn Abdy Collins

    He just sat talking to my Son and I collecting stories of Helen's life,he also spoke to
    Helen's close family by phone again collecting stories to tell in the service.

    On the day, a Lady Funeral Conductor did all of the official bits and her attendants were Bearers and Ushers Very professional.
    We also had a live webcast so loved ones could watch from the comfort of their own homes Many could not attend
    And if needed loved ones can watch and record upto a month later

    However the Star of the show was the Celebrant Benn he was funny respectful and full of ideas, he had this idea to everyone in the congregation to lay a flower on Helen's coffin thus taking away the starkness of the ceremony, the stories he told were funny loving and respectful
    Almost if he knew her
    He is a wonderful person

    He made the books of service and orchestrated the whole service music,hymns, prayers and used my favourite photos for the Pamphlets
    They were so beautiful that everyone wanted to take one as a souvenir

    I can honestly say that Nobody could have made it better

    The Coop will look after your loved ones
    Deal with the Scary paperwork, give you and yours respect and help as much as possible
    I would recommend the Coop to everyone

    Tracy and Michaela were just excellent everything was done for me nothing was too much trouble very understanding to my situation I found myself in Martin Shaw the Minister gave a lovely tribute to my other half couldn’t have asked for any more regards lynn

    Dear Sir/Madam

    Thank you all very much for everything you did for my Mum. You dealt with our questions very courteously and respectfully, and when we came to view our Mum, we all agreed that she looked lovely and  totally at peace. 

    I do, however, have a few issues that I wish to raise with you.

    The most upsetting thing for me was   the wrong entrance music was played.

    I sent  Becky a link for the music, Andre Reus -   The Rose, but for some reason the music that was played had a woman singing to the  the tune.  I didn't under any circumstances ask for this, and was so upset when it started playing.  I did mention it to Becky after the service, and she said you were responsible for organising the music.  Did she send you a link with my wishes?

    My brother and I were also  not happy that she sent us the order of service at 20.50 on Monday evening the day before I was due to travel down to London for the service (she was aware of my travel plans).  I had sent her a rough eulogy on 22nd of Jan, and we had a family zoom call with her on the 26th Jan, so she had plenty of time.  We found ourselves making, and sending her adjustments late into the evening.

    I also wasn't impressed that as I was getting out of the funeral car on the day of the service she came over and asked me a few questions about the service, one of them being if we wanted the curtain closing or not, I can't remember what the other questions were.This was very upsetting, and I remember giving her the information about the curtain earlier 

    My last issue was with my Mum's jewellery.  When we came to view her we were given a pouch containing her jewellery.  When I opened it later I found that I only contained her rings. Luckily, we happened to know that she was also wearing some necklaces.  I had to ring up to ask where these were.  "Oh, sorry, we forgot to give you those", was the reply.  Again this was very upsetting, and in my opinion, totally unacceptable.

    We also noticed that when we came to view her, the plate on the coffin had an incorrect  date of death, again, very upsetting and unprofessional.

    First class care at a difficult time. I truly felt that I was their only client, despite knowing how busy they were. They were so helpful and supportive. The actual day of the funeral went smoothly and I really felt they cared. Cannot recommend highly enough

    Tracey was compassionate and helpful. she returned my calls and answered all my questions. On the day of the funeral Stephanie was lovely and made a very difficult day so much easier
