Sherlocks were marvellous from the initial enquiry until we collected my Fathers ashes. ALL the staff were kind,caring and understanding. Our questions were answered promptly and our requests carried out to the letter. A sad and painful experience was made so much easier by great Team. My Father would of approved of his send off. The support from Angela and, of course, Sally was incredibly kind, understanding and did not complain at all, when I changed my mind countless times. Then the support from Clive was exceptional, in the Church and also at the Graveside. That is the kind of support one hopes one gets in any situation.

Stoneman Funeral Service purchased Sherlock and Sons Funeral Directors in Dorking in 2010. An established family business that has been serving the Community of Dorking for over 100 years. The two families now work closely together to provide a quality service to bereaved families in their time of need.

You can choose from a range of coffins, including traditional hardwood, cardboard, wicker and bespoke designs. They also have a fleet of Jaguar hearses and limousines with matching number plates, which along with immaculate premises, staff and caring funeral directors make Sherlock Funeral Service a trusted provider of funerals in the Dorking area.
They are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and the National Society for Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), as well as the National Association of Memorial Masons.
