Very poor customer service no updates about what was happening unless we called and it was always we were going to call. Waiting for ashes was told they were ready when we called and some one would call as back no one did called again two weeks later only able to leave message did get call back from central office to be told ashes had only just arrived contradictory to what we had previously been told arranged a collection time and was told local office would call guess what they never did.  Also after my first visit started to receive phone calls from co-op central team offering other services.  When I complained to local office saying I had not consented had not signed anything how had they got my details was told a lot of people complained about this but my details must have been passed on by the local office without my knowledge or consent.  Very dissatisfied with the service provided.  Especially compared with company used last year for my mother when we were informed all along about what was happening and when it had happened.  Take it the co-op no frills service is definitely no frills especially when you lack the funds to do something different

I used the Co-op in Camberley for the funeral of my mum recently.  From talking to them initially to the actual day, nothing was too much trouble.  I was always treated with empathy and respect and would highly recommend them.  Thank you Tara and Dean for ensuring such an emotional day ran so smoothly..

Wonderful caring service from start to finish. The only thing they couldn't help with was the appalling weather on the day of the funeral ...one or two little suggestions have large golfing umbrella's on board to help for such occasions and maybe younger Pallbearers for St Peters Church funerals as the steps are very difficult to negotiate with a heavy load. We don't want to add to future customers. The CO OP saved the day with orders of service when our printers were unable to do the work. With calm efficiency they got them done for us...and everyone said how lovely they were. We will probably use their services with the headstone too and would recommend them to our friends and family. Thank you CO OP we are very grateful to you all.

Dean was an absolute Gem when I wanted to collect Mum's Ashes

Excellent care from start to finish, lovely people to deal with a difficult time. Joyce (FD) was so kind and very good communication at all times. Tara in the shop very responsive. 

My only comment would be please give it a bit longer before seeking a review ( it’s still very raw, not a week yet).

I cannot express how great the service was from Co-op Camberley. From our first meeting Tara was wonderful. All aspects of the care of mum's remains were dealt with seamlessly. Tara dealt with everything required with complete professionalism and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble. Dean, the funeral director, and his team, were absolutely marvelous on the day of the funeral. We required the services of a celebrant to conduct the funeral, again, Tara put us in touch with an absolute gem of a lady. Exceptional service.

I would say good, rather than very good but that wasn't an option so i plumped for average. There were a few things that weren't good, firstly we couldn't get through on the telephone for a few days and in the end had to call head office and have them send a message, not anyone's fault, but it did add to the stress.
I didn't feel that i got a lot of feedback or attention and in fact one instruction that i emailed, the venue from where the hearse should start was wrong, thank heaven the funeral chap called me on the morning to confirm otherwise we would have been at one address and the hearse at another.
I have organised a few funerals now with other funeral companies and feel that the experience with the CoOp whilst not bad, could have been improved.

Respectful, compassionate, totally organised. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Both Tara and Wendy were so understanding and empathetic. Tara couldn't have done more to make me feel that she had my back and that my mother was in the best hands possible. Arranging a funeral under Covid restrictions was not as straightforward as normal but our Funeral Director did everything in her power to ensure we were kept fully informed, made all the necessary arrangements and assisted us in making this a personal funeral for our Father. We were especially impressed with the respect which she and the other members of the Funeral Service showed to him.

It was a very difficult and emotional time for me as I lost my husband so suddenly. They were so kind and understanding and organised the funeral as I requested with only one spray of flowers on the coffin and photos as I didn’t want any flowers.
